The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) is set to join the probe into the murder of lawyer Willie Kimani, his client and a taxi driver.
This was revealed as the Director of Criminal Investigations Ndegwa Muhoro who personally appeared in court Tuesday morning gave the assurance before Justice Luka Kimaru that they will complete the investigations within 14 days when four police officers will plead to the charges.
Muhoro was in court alongside the heads of the Serious Crimes Prevention Unit and Flying Squad who were called in to give a comprehensive update on the probe.
The DCI further stated that no external interference will be allowed during the probe which he stressed will be fair and just.
